What about email addresses entered when a card is sent?
When you send a card directly with your own email software, you are using your own Internet Service Provider to email the card just as you do when you send any email message. We don't need email addresses and out of respect for your privacy, we don't ask for them or have any access to them.
We do not sell, barter or exchange personally-identifiable information, except as noted in the LIMITATIONS OF PRIVACY section below.LIMITATIONS ON PRIVACY
Though we try to protect your privacy, any use of the WWW or of email
creates the possibility that someone could access the data transmitted.
Because of the limitations of Web and email technology, there is always
some risk on the Internet that personal information might be accessed
and privacy cannot be guaranteed.
Advertiser, Affiliates and Others: Our advertising and site analytics is managed by Google and/or by other professional parties in those industries. Google, our Internet Service Provider, and other parties advertising through Google or otherwise affiliated with them may collect data through cookies or other tracking technology just as is done throughout the Internet. Before explicitly providing information to any party, for example an advertiser, a shop or any party other than Awesome Cards, you should check their privacy policy, as they are third parties and are not obligated to comply with our policies and practices. It is reasonable for you to expect that reputable Internet sites will post privacy policies and we recommend reading them on any site where you are inputting personal information.
We reserve the right to provide aggregate site and user information (for example, how many visitors, how many visitors from specific area codes) to third parties and to write or email visiitors who have written to us.
We reserve the right to provide information if we think – correctly or incorrectly and reasonably or unreasonably – that our cards or one of our sites are being used in violation of our terms of use, including, but not limited to, being used in any illegal, harmful, threatening or anti-social activity.
Opt-in: When individuals explicitly give us permission to utilize their data, for example, when a visitor explicitly requests third party product or promotional information or services, we reserve the right to release the data to the third parties.
